french junior and leaving certificate grinds revision courses christmas and easter

French is nationally, by far the most popular choice as a third language with almost 26,000 students choosing French as their foreign language for Leaving Certificate in 2018.

We pride ourselves in Hewitt College on the excellence of our modern languages departments. You will be taught by Leaving Certificate textbook author Patricia McGrath, and all full-time students have weekly one-to-one French oral classes with our native-speaking French tutor, Antoine Madiot.

In Hewitt College, there is no blocking of subjects, and students may study any or a combination of French, German and Spanish. Japanese and Italian may also be facilitated on a private basis.

At Hewitt College, we are finalising our roadmap to safely guide our students on their Leaving Certificate journey.

For the coming academic year, no external student will be admitted to Hewitt College during the school week.
