Economics is suited to students who have a genuine interest in how the economy works as a whole. It involves topics such as wealth, finance, the recession and the banking sector. Studying Economics gives students a greater understanding of the world in which they live in.

From September 2019 a new Economics course will be introduced. The new course will have a project component worth 20%, which is great news for students.

As there is no restriction on subject choices at Hewitt College, students that are interested in Business may choose up to three options from Accounting, Business and Economics or Agricultural Economics.

Complementary Subjects: Physics, Applied Maths, higher Maths, Construction.

At Hewitt College, we offer grinds in this subject, or Economics can be taken as an extra subject. These classes are taught by our expert and excellent teachers and places fill fast. If you would like to receive information on our September 2019 – May 2020 classes, please complete this form.
