Geography is a popular option for students of Hewitt College. This is a wide course, as in addition to the core components of Physical Environment and Regional Geography, one elective unit must be covered. Our Geography teacher at Hewitt College, Dr. Eleanor Solon, is Leaving Certificate textbook author.

The fieldwork component of the course is worth 20% of the overall examination. This is generally completed in October to allow students ample time to write up their fieldwork journals.

Complementary subjects : Agricultural Science, History.

At Hewitt College, we are finalising our roadmap to safely guide our students on their Leaving Certificate journey.

For the coming academic year, no external student will be admitted to Hewitt College during term time.

– Supervised Study: These facilities are only available to full-time Hewitt College students.

– Grinds | Extra Subject: Will not be available on campus. We are currently organising our online grinds | extra subject programme.

We apologise for any inconvenience or disappointment. However, our priority must be, as always, our full-time students. We have taken these measures to ensure their safety and continuity of learning.
